JEAN M MORRISON's Obituary
Jean Mason Morrison, 93, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2022 at her home surrounded by family. She was a loving and compassionate woman who shared kindness with all that she came in contact with.
She grew up in Miami, FL where she met the love of her life, W. Dale Morrison, Jr, while attending Miami High. She graduated from Florida State College for Women, which became FSU, with her degree in education. After college, she and Dale married and enjoyed 47 years together before his passing. She spent her career teaching first and second graders giving many children the love of reading and learning.
Jean moved to Pensacola,FL in 2000 to be near her daughter. She loved Pensacola and became active in Christ Church, played bridge and enjoyed exercising with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, W. Dale Morrison Jr. She is survived by her daughter Linda Willis(Monty), granddaughter Katie Bryant(Trevis) and three great-grandsons, Jamison, Jaxson and Jak.
Many thanks to Emerald Coast Hospice and her caregiver for their loving care her last few months.
