JEAN NAOMI JOHNSON's Obituary
Jean Naomi Leacock Johnson was born in Trinidad, and Tobago on September 5th, 1934 to Aldric Leacock, and Thelma Dean.
She was an only child. Her mother died when she was one year old. Her grandmother Maude Dean raised her and taught her how to be a strong resilient woman. She went on to nursing school in Trinidad and Tobago, and after completing nursing school her first child Colleen was born. Two years later she migrated to the United States and married Jim Johnson. Darren and Michelle were born from this union.
Years later she moved back to Trinidad and Tobago with her three children. She continued her career as a Public Health nurse in Trinidad and Tobago for many years. She later moved back to the United States where she continued her nursing career in various fields in Health Care. After working as a nurse for over fifty years, she retired. She still continued to work in the nursing profession part time even after she was retired. Jean leaves to cherish her memory her children Colleen, Darren, and Michelle, her grandchildren Cordell, Nasir, Kira, and Tristan, and her daughter-in-law Liza.
