JANET CARINO SEIBEL's Obituary
Janet, beloved wife of Julio Seibel for 56 years, and mother of Jamie Leigh Seibel (Baker) died in Miami, Florida on September 15 from a respiratory infection. Her three grand-daughters are Chelsea Anne Baker, Emily Christine Baker, and Jessica Marie Baker. Janet was born in Brooklyn, New York, on December 21, 1942. She is survived by her step-mother, Imogene Carino, and was preceded in death by her father Ted Carino, her mother, Alice Tomkins (Lamont), her step-father Charles Lamont Sr., and brother Charles Lamont Jr. Four siblings survive: Patricia Carino (Pasick), Peter Carino, Douglas Lamont, and Phillip Carino. Janet is also survived by her cherished long -term caregiver, Rosita Terrero.
Janet loved children and animals and dancing, and was known for her amazing cooking and great compassion. She was an unofficial adoption agency. Anyone in need could bask in her kindness and kitchen. Her parrot Salty and her cat Sweetness, and a whole legion of people she loved and was loved by, will miss Jan almost as much as we do.
