James Douglas Young's Obituary
James Douglas Young, was born in Madisonville, Kentucky, on January 4, 1942, to Holbart and Lola Young. In January of 1964, James enlisted in the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War, before being Honorably Discharged. In the early 1970’s James settled down in Miami, Florida where he raised his family. James was a hardworking man who provided for his family as an air conditioning technician. When James was not working he taught his family about his love for the Florida Everglades, as they would spend weekends camping, hunting, and fishing.
James is survived by his daughter, Denise, her husband Kent, and their child Gavan of Miami; his brother Lelon, and his wife Camille of Avon Park; his brother Fred and his wife Nancy of Kentucky; his brother John of Kentucky; and his nephew Larry of Miramar. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Paul, George, Ben, Charlie, and Darrell.
