James E. Hicks' Obituary
James Edwin Hicks passed away on April 11, 2021 at his home in Miami, FL after a two year battle with small intestinal cancer. He was 75 years old.
Jim was born on October 17, 1945 in Jacksonville, FL. In 1963 he enlisted in the US Navy and served two tours in Vietnam. When he returned he held distinguished careers at General Electric and Florida Power & Light. After his retirement he filled his days pursuing his many passions, which included ham radio and fixing up old cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna, his sons James Jr. and Michael, his sister Nancy, and his grandchildren Riley and James III.
