JAMES MARTIN REILLY BELL's Obituary
Bell, James Martin Reilly of Cutler Bay, Florida passed away at home on February 18, 2017 at the age of 23. He was born in Ocala, Florida on August 8, 1993.
Jamie graduated from Palmetto Sr. High School, Pinecrest, Florida and previously attended New World School of the Arts in Miami. Jamie was in his last semester at Florida Atlantic University, majoring in public safety administration with a minor in natural disaster rescue because he wanted to help people. He was a kind, intelligent young man who greatly loved family, friends, and animals. He was the person friends would go to for advice and when in need.
He enjoyed playing games, making puns, and laughing at just about everything. Jamie played guitar, as well as writing many songs and poems. He enjoyed traveling with his parents, spending time boating and fishing in the Florida Keys, and visiting countries. He loved spending time at their vacation home in the California redwoods. He cherished family time with his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Survived in death by his parents Martin Bell, Peggy Reilly Bell, Mayor of Cutler Bay, Florida, as well as by three aunts and uncles and five cousins.
Services for Jamie will be held on Saturday, February 25 at Van Orsdel Kendall Chapel, 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Miami. Visitation is at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm. Floral arrangements are welcome or a contribution in Jamie’s name may be made payable to Cutler Bay Community Fund and mailed to the Town Hall.
