Jaime Torres' Obituary
It is with profound sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Jaime “Jimmy” Torres,
61 years of age, of Miami-Dade, Florida, on August 23, 2024. Jimmy was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on April 4, 1963. He grew up in New York City, specifically, Washington Heights.
Jimmy was in the Army Reserve in his twenties. He enjoyed nature; he was great at gardening
and growing vegetables, he truly enjoyed fishing, he loved animals, and he loved to laugh and
make people laugh, especially when he was telling a humorous story with such great attention to
detail. He absolutely loved to do practical jokes on everyone. He loved sci-fi movies, old
black-and-white movies, western movies and shows. Jimmy had a good heart, and everyone
loved him. People were drawn to him; he was charismatic, he was loyal. Jimmy was fun, loud, and
authentic. Everyone who knew him, loved him unconditionally. We love him so much
and miss him immensely. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. He will
remain forever in our hearts and memories.
Jimmy will be deeply missed by his Mother, Sylvia Chiclana; his Sons, Michael Torres and
Jonathan Torres; his Sister, Jacqueline Ortega; his Nephew, Jestise Negron; his Step-Father,
Heriberto Millan; his partner of many years, Olivia Korringa; his son's mother, Luz Morales; his
Father, Mariano Torres; his Brother, Nelson Torres; his life long brother, John Cremonini;
John’s family who loved Jimmy as their family; John’s ex-wife, Ann Cremonini; his Niece,
Alise Cremonini; his Nephew, Aden Cremonini; his lifelong brother, Domingo Sanchez. Jimmy
was truly loved by so many people.
