IVEN R STRAWDERMAN's Obituary
Iven Richard (Dick) Strawderman passed away on Monday March 27th 2017 at the age of 88. Born in Cumberland, MD he came to Miami Beach, Fl at the age of 17. For work he took a job as a dish washer at Currys Restaurant on Miami Beach. Through is hard work and perseverance he bought Currys in 1957 which he owned and operated successfully until 2005 he is survived by his loving wife Danielle Cadieux, preceded in death by his wife Ollie Strawderman and daughter Sherry. He leaves behind his children, larry, Kay, June McDonald (James) and David (Patricia). His grandchildren, Crystal Strawderman, Karen Simms, Melissa Baum, Sheldon Frank,and great grandchild, Jarod, Jesse, Hannah, Asha, Robert and Sylah. Visitation 6 pm – 9pm Friday, Service 12noon Saturday all at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL. Burial Flagler Memorial Park.
