Hilda Lois Etienne
nee FOULKES
Made her transition on January 16, 2017 in Miami, FL. She was born on August 23 rd
1930 to Erskine and Edith (Riley) Foulkes in Staniard Creek, Andros, Bahamas. She
was a missionary in Haiti for forty years alongside her husband the late Reverend
Napoleon Etienne. She was a blessing to many. Her gentle nature was also her
strength. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Thelma Foulkes, Althea Lewis,
Teresa Coakley. Her brothers Oscar Foulkes, Erskine Foulkes, Her sisters in law
Thelma Taylor Foulkes, Carmen Foulkes. Her son in law Earl Walker Sr.
She left behind to cherish her memory her children: Vangie (Michael Jr) Jackson,
Napoleon (Audrey) Etienne Jr. Nancy Waller, Virginia Etienne Colas.
Her grandchildren: Saadi Etienne Daniel, Kinnisha Brown, Napoleon Etienne III,
Ramon (Heather) Jackson, Hilda Sybile (David) Delice, Annick Colas, Cedrick Colas,
Kenny Alpkonse, Jason Waller, Earl Waller Jr. (Clarissa) Christian Waller, Nakisha
(Michael) Wenzel Jordan (Krishna) Sejour, and Ryan Sejour.
Her great grandchildren: Zoe, Kayla, Donte, Jalon, Anthony, Kyron Blessed Naya,
Harmony, Micaela, Heaven, Earl III, Charles, and Tyler.
Her brothers: David (Helen) Foulkes, Julius Foulkes, brother in law Joel Desire and
her sister in law Myrtle Foulkes and her cousin Vicky Durand.
Her nieces: Dr. Donna Lewis, Michelle Lewis, Dr. Monique (Cecil) Williams Dacia
(Donald) Gilbert, Avanell (Garland) Whyms, Wendy Foulkes Paul, Rosemary
Foulkes, her nephews: Gareth (Toni) Lewis, Basil (Susie) Lewis, Dr. Dave (Arnica)
Foulkes, Bryan (Denise) Foulkes, Randy Foulkes, Lamont (Yvoncia) Foulkes.
A host of great grandnieces and great grandnephews. Her Goddaughters Geralda
Pigeot, Sandra St. Clair and Josette (Balnave) Augustin. Her beloved Pastor Richard
and Cheryl Sejour. Her Gateway Foursquare Church family. Also left to cherish her
memory a host of relatives and dear friends. Her legacy will live on in our hearts and
our everyday walk through life.
