Herbert L Lanzet's Obituary
LANZET, Herbert, age 92, passed away on January 24th in Miami, Florida. Born in New York he served overseas in WWII. He started his career in radio as a producer and director for Barry Gray, then began a lifetime career in public relations, running NY-based firms Sydney S. Baron Corp.(Exec.VP); Baron Advertising Corp.(President); Robert S. Taplinger & Assoc.(Exec.VP); Granco-Media (President); Howard Bronson & Co.(Exec.VP); and The Wall Street Group (Senior VP). Determined never to retire, he worked well into his eighties as chairman of his own financial public relations company, H.L. Lanzet. Predeceased by daughter Claudia, he is survived by son Leigh Lanzet, daughter Amy Passero, grandchildren Nesrin, Greer, Joshua, Sasha, Lilli and Izabella, great-grandchildren Christian and Kingston and a sister, Adelle Bandklayder. He will be laid to rest at the South Florida Veterans National Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the VA or the American Cancer Society.
