HELEN A SIMMONS's Obituary
Helen A. Simmons, 98, passed away May 2nd, 2018. A resident of West Miami, originally from New Smyrna Beach, FL. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami and loved ceramics and bowling. Greatest of all, however, was her love for Jesus Christ. Helen was an amazing women of God and dedicated her life to serving Him. Predeceased by her parents Edwin King Anders and Ruby Smith Anders, and her adoring husband George H. Simmons, Jr. Survived by children George H. (Lisa) Simmons, III, Steven E. (Sherry) Simmons, grandchildren, George H. Simmons, IV, Megan S. Sapp, Kaitlin S. Buckhalt, great-grandchildren, Grace, Emma, Lilly, and Savannah Sapp, Riker and Thorin Simmons, and Luke and Zoey Buckhalt. Memorial Service at 1:30 PM on Monday, May 7th at Van Orsdel Family Funeral Chapels, 4600 SW 8th St. Coral Gables, FL 33134. Graveside Service will be private at Flagler Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Miami Rescue Mission.
