Hedy von Paulus passed away on March 13, 2016 having lived a long and beautiful life.
Hedy emigrated to the US from Germany in 1958 and quickly embraced her new home; taking great pride in calling herself an American.
A brilliant businesswoman, Hedy is best known for her kind spirit and playful humor. Hedy was the proud mother of Cynthia Golub, Ronald von Paulus and Suzanne von Paulus all of whom were at her bedside when she left us. Hedy was deeply loved and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched- and there were many.
A special thanks to Nancy Todd, her longtime friend and companion in her last months with whom she shared many a laugh.
A celebration of her life will be held at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL at 2pm on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2016. As a lifelong animal lover, Hedy would prefer that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in her name to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida www.bigcatrescue.org and the Cat Network www.thecatnetwork.org
