Haydee Barroso Carmichael's Obituary
CARMICHAEL, HAYDEE MARIA BARROSO Left this world on New Year's Day at the age of 97. Born in Havana, Cuba to Fabian and Dulce Barroso, she was the youngest of five siblings. She married her handsome and beloved American G.I. Herman Elias (deceased) and moved to the United States where she created a loving home caring for her husband and two daughters. She will be remembered for her gentleness, tenacity, love and kindness, devotion to her family and her Catholic faith and most especially for her sweet smile. She is survived by her daughters Georgia (Mrs. Joseph Ruiz) and Diana (Mrs. Donn Flipse), her six grandchildren Donn, Alex, Ellen, Joseph, Ryan and Kevin and her two great grandchildren James and Patrick. She will be sorely missed and always remembered. Go In Peace. The Memorial Service will be on Tuesday, January 6 from 7:00-10:00 P.M. at Van Orsdel Chapel, 4600 SW 8 St. (305) 446-4412. Mass will be conducted Wednesday, January 7 at 11:30 A.M. at the Church of the Little Flower 2711 Indian Mound Rd., Coral Gables
