Harvey Schmitt, How to capture the spirit of Harvey - artist, golfer, loved to work out, cook & laugh. Died of Cancer on April 29 2015. Joined the Navy to escape South Dakota, on ship he visited Cuba & was stationed in Key West and decided to settled in Miami- calling Coconut Grove his home. Harv was a genius with tools and a hands on repair man. He worked many happy years with Jim and Beverley Mcghee at the Alexander Montessori Schools. He loved working out and for the past 4 years became an avid Golfer. Admired and love by his children: son: Warren Schmitt (Ga), daughter: Wanda & husband Tony Hunt (Fla), son: Steve Schmitt (Fla), Grandchildren: Albert, Michael, Kaci, Kristen, Nick and wow great-grands: Brayden, Bentley, Cannon. His Brothers and Sisters and many nieces and nephews mostly in Washington State plus his longtime friend, Renee Schafer, her family, many neighbors, his "buddy's" - you know who you are & his gym pals and those who joined his journey along his life path.
