Harold D. Wetherington's Obituary
WETHERINGTON, HAROLD D., was born in Miami, Florida on May 4th, 1939 and passed away on April 30th, 2012 in South Miami, Florida. He attended Miami Edison Senior High School and served in the United States Navy and the United States Naval Reserve. While in the military, he was trained to be an aircraft mechanic. After completing his military service, he became an automobile and truck mechanic. His mechanical skills were recognized to be superlative. He had an outgoing personality and a generous heart, especially where children and animals were concerned. He is survived by his mother, Shirley MacDougall, his daughters, Kimberly Wetherington, Cynthia Jenson and Rebecca Coombs and numerous grandchildren, his sisters, Linda Gemza and Wendy Wetherington, his brothers, Gerald, Eldon and Kirby Wetherington, three aunts, numerous cousins and nephews and nieces, including Benay Wetherington. The family will hold a private memorial service.
