Harold L Knapp's Obituary
KNAPP, HAROLD L (67) passed away unexpectedly March 8, 2012. Harold was born and raised in Evansville, IN moving to Miami in 1972. Harold served four years in the US Air Force and was a graduate of Miami Dade College.
Harold taught electricity for 30 years at Lindsey Hopkins TEC from which he had recently retired. He was a member of the IBEW #349 Union, United Teachers of Dade, VFW, American Legion Post #31 and Miami Elks Lodge #948. Harold is survived by Carolyn his wife of 43 years, daughter Carleen, son Harold Wm. and sister Carolyn Adams (Evansville, IN).
A memorial service celebrating Harold’s life will be held on Thursday, March 15 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at the VanOrsdel Chapel, 11220 N Kendall Drive with burial at the South Florida National Cemetery on a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Harold’s memory to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852, www.kidneyfund.org.
