HAROLD EDWIN COLLINS JR's Obituary
LT. Harold E Collins Jr, 77, beloved husband, father, brother, son, grandfather and friend passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Harold was born on July 14, 1937 in Lindenhurst, NY. He graduated from Lindenhurst High School in 1954 and went on to serve in the US Navy for more than 30 years. He was a kind, loving and generous person that will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a great storyteller and loved history. He was an avid reader and fisherman. He is survived by his Children- Jennifer, Sarah, Simon, Victoria and Katrina, his sister Marie Boedner and her husband Ernst, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Harold was preceded in death by his wife Katherine and his parents, Harold and Marie Collins.
Harold Edwin Collins, Jr. and his wife Katherine B Collins, will be inurned at South Florida VA National Cemetery on Friday, July 10th, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
