GWEN MARIE STORY's Obituary
STORY, GWEN MARIE ROSEN, passed away February 25, 2014 at home at the age of 62 shortly after learning she had cancer. She was born in Coral Gables, Florida on October 31, 1951. Gwen was preceded in death by her father, Norman Samuel Rosen. Gwen is survived by her husband, James Riley Story, Ph.D., her mother, Natalie Honey Rosen, her twin sister, Gail Coverman and her brother-in-law, Randall B. Coverman, M.D. of Longwood, Florida, her brother, Clifford, and her sister-in-law, Dorian Rosen, as well as cousins, nieces and nephews. Gwen's family is grateful to her husband of 27 years, Jim, and to Vitas Hospice Care for the care they provided during her illness. Gwen dedicated her life to teaching. The family is appreciative of the staff, students and parents of Dr. Bowman Foster Ashe Elementary where she was honored as being Teacher of the Year as well as Dr. Manual C. Barreiro Elementary where she also taught. Gwen surely left her positive mark on the many students who were fortunate enough to have her as a teacher. The family is thankful as well for the other close relationships she enjoyed in and outside of work. Gwen will always be loved, remembered and honored.
