Gregoire H. Levros' Obituary
Gregoire Hugues Levros was born in St. Louis-du-Nord, Haiti on November 26, 1948. He went to Trade School at St. Trinity School in Port-au-Prince, Haiti where he taken in at the age of 5 in the St. Vincent's Facility, a related institution. He was a pro in mechanics and had a passion for cars. He was an entrepreneur in his twenties and eager to leave Haiti to come to the United States for better opportunities. In his forties he started thinking about prospects that might arise in Haiti and felt it was time to venture back home. He began a business, shipping school buses to Haiti and from being a mechanic he became a bus driver. Despite all the political violence that was going on in his country he took on that as a challenge and would return frequently. Hugues was very jovial, always happy to be around family members and friends, and extremely adventurous. All his life he relied on God to do him justice. That was his way to cope with living with his hearing and speech impairment. During his illness he put all his trust in God and is now in His tender care. Hugues was taken home by His Creator, on November 7, 2008, 13 days short of his 60th birthday.
