Grace Ada Haase's Obituary
Grace Ada Haase, 82, Miami, FL went to heaven on December 5, 2023.
She was born in Jamaica on December 17, 1940. Her parents were Kathleen Gibson (mother, deceased), Austin Main (father, deceased), and Clifford Gibson (stepfather, deceased).
She attended Shortwood School in Kingston, and later completed her education at Croswell Private School.
On September 8, 1957, she was married to Cleveland Francis Haase (deceased).
Grace served her working years as a Nurses Aid in New York before retiring and relocating to Florida. Her hobbies included embroidery, sewing, and reading.
She is survived by four children Elizabeth Chang daughter, (son-in-law Marlon Chang) daughter Lisa James (son-in-law Christopher James) son Andrew Haase, son Douglas Haase (daughter-in-law Nellita Haase), and stepchild Judith Taieb. Paula Martin, her stepchild, preceded her in death.
She also leaves behind, brother Clifford Gibson Jr., along with her grandchildren Corrin Haase, Zachary Haase, Juliana Haase, Emily Haase, Matthew Seow, Andrew Seow, Justin James, Jesse Chang, Joseph Chang, Rebecca Chang, Annakay James, Timothy James, Gabriella James and Ryan James and her great-grandchildren Victoria James, Beau Victor, Jacob Victor, and Elijah Blake.
A memorial service will be held at Van Orsdel Funeral Home, Miami, FL on Saturday, December 23, 2023, from 12 PM to 3 PM.
