Gloria, “G”, Grandma, Mommy, Mom, Mama. . .was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica 🇯🇲, of parents Ada Rose (Black) Kong and William Kong. She is survived by the love of her life, Joseph C. Chin of 58 years and the best gift of all, her 4 children: Joseph C. Chin,jr. -Anne Marie Hendriks-Chin; Ann-Margret Hew -Ian Hew; David Chin -Lisa Chin; Duncan Chin -Gabrielle Chin.
Her legacy lives on in her 9 grandchildren: Ashley Chin, Melanie Hew, Nicole Hew, Brandon Chin, Taylor Chin, Ryan Chin, Kailey Chin, Justin Chin and Adam Chin
Also survived by her sisters: Edna Chin, Hyacinth “Sissy” Cleaver, and Sonia Terry Ziadie
Gloria loved to cook for her family, especially for those family gatherings around birthdays and holidays. Between celebrations, cooking, and raising a family she enjoyed tinkering in her garden. Wishing you a bountiful kitchen and everlasting blooms in your new resting place Gloria.
