Gisele Anglade's Obituary
On Friday, May 16, 2025, Marie Gisele Peraertz Anglade (Mom) passed away into eternity. She is
reunited with her late husband, Carlot Jacques Anglade (Dad), in the afterlife. Mom was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, on September 30, 1933. Mom and Dad were married on September 24, 1955, and celebrated 47 years of love and marriage together.
Their journey together brought them to Philadelphia, PA initially, eventually settling in Queens, NY to raise their growing family. They continued their lives together, raising 6 children while moving from Orange, NJ, to Miami, FL, finally. While Dad pursued a career in management consulting for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, Mom was a homemaker, active in the vibrant Haitian-American community of New York, starting several small businesses while opening our home to three foster children and multiple extended family members, and friends
starting their American journey. Her immediate survivors include Eddy, Wendy and Noelle, Carlos, Dionne, Gyasi, and Asante, Michele, Alex, Raymond, Brianna, Izaiah and Zariah, and Joseph, and Melanie, her sister, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
We love you, Mom, and will miss you terribly. Friends and Family are invited to join us at the Van Orsdel Funeral Home in Miami (11220 North Kendall Drive) from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM
