Gerlando Constantino's Obituary
Gerlando Constantino was born on January 22, 1942 in Amsterdam, New York. Gerlando moved to Miami, Florida in his childhood and attended the Dade County Schools. After graduation from Southwest High School in Miami, He enlisted in the United Stated Marine Corps and served with honors with the Military Police. Upon returning from his tour of duty, he attended and graduated from Cosmetology College. Gerlando owned and operated Projected Images Hair Salon in Kendal, Fl.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America.
He is survived by his parents, Lucy and Vincenzo Constantino, who are now residing in Lakeland, Fl.
Survivors include his son, Vincent Lee Constantino and his wife, Gwynne, of Sunrise, Florida.
His surviving sisters are Lucy Wittich and husband Arthur, of Lorton, VA. and Mary Shimp and husband, William, of Lakeland Fl., and his brother Frank Constantino of Miami,Fl.
Our precious brother , Jerry, will be missed by his family. May God rest his soul in peace.
Services will be held at The Florida National Cemeter, 6502 Southwest 102nd Avenue. Bushnel, Florida, at 2:00P.M. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.
