By today's standards, my mother lead a quiet life as she passed through this world, but that doesn't lessen the impact she had as a mother, grandmother, friend, confidant or advisor. She leaves an incredible legacy of positive and impactful successes, in her children and grandchildren. We under-estimate the power and contributions of a good, loving, caring, invested mother has on her family and ultimately society. My mom always had time for us with a listening ear, words of encouragement or just a simple smile. She demonstrated her love on many levels. My fond memories of her baking and home cooked meals we all loved so much. We didn't always agree on everything but she encouraged us to take our own stance and do what makes us happy. She made my life happier, merely because she took the time to share what she had to give. My love for mom is deathless. I shall always have blissful memories of the precious time and moments shared with much gratitude. I am grateful to God I was able to enjoy those cherished times for so long. I left nothing unsaid. We spoke on many subjects and shared our feelings, thoughts and ideas. Mom enjoyed telling stories about Dad. My mom shall always be in my heart during my happiest days and even during my darkest nights. She will be a part of my life forever, as she did in life! I've even learned to "cloud gaze" as my mom used to do. But now when I feel that soft breeze on my face to me it will be conveyed as my understanding of her presence with a strong connection to her.
Many lessons learned, not by words, but in actions and so much love was felt. I was so fortunate to have a wonderful mom that was always there for me through my life. She is now resting where her soul is happy and free with no physical or emotional pain. She has reunited with her so missed loved ones. May she Rest In Peace. I rest in the comfort that although she is physically gone, she will forever live in me and my children. I know she will be waiting for me. Until we meet again.
Love you Mom,
