Friendship that begins in childhood becomes something deeper than friendship — it becomes brotherhood. When you grow up side by side, those bonds root into your life like family, and losing one brother feels like losing a piece of your own story.
My time with George and the guys is filled with the kind of stories that carry you back in time. When we’re together, it feels like no years have passed at all. I don’t see grown men when I look at them — I see the same high school boys laughing, kicking it around, and living in a moment that somehow never left us.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18

The memories bring a warm serenity while reflecting on the years gone by. From standing up with you and Nancy as you exchanged vows; fishing trips to Key West with JoAnn and Doris; searching and finding your SuperBowl ring on US 1; welcoming the birth of your son Jason; you giving pointers to my son as he played football at Palmetto High; your annual golf tournament fund raiser for the youth groups; our families celebrating years of Christmas together; and so many fun filled gatherings... the cherished memories will live on. Love, Aunt Ruthie

Sad to hear of his passing a school chum in the same classes together during our high school years. His sense of humor is what I remember him the most he had away with words that kept us laughing on end. My sincere condolence go out to family and friends he will be surely missed among many of his followers.

Rest in Peace my Brother
Hit ‘em straight ! Love you
Ed
