ANAGNOSTIS
Genevieve Zessis, 85, died August 5, 2010 after a brief illness. She came to Miami in 1952 with her husband and two daughters. She established a retail flower shop for 50 years. A longtime member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed a healthy life and spent her time in artistic pursuits such as ceramics, stained glass and jewelry making. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Chris and survived by her daughters Gay-Lynne (Ron Carlson), and Christine Anagnostis. Visitation 7 – 9 pm with a Trisagion 7:30 pm Tuesday at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES CHAPEL. Funeral Service 11 am Wednesday at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial at Woodlawn Park North.
