Genevieve C. Neumann's Obituary
NEUMANN
Genevieve Margaret Campbell
Neumann was born December
17, 1921 in Carsonville, MI and
passed away on June 13, 2010 at
the age of 88. Her father was
James A. Campbell and her
mother Margaret Pabst-
Templeton. Mrs. Neumann
moved to Paris after WWII and
worked for the Foreign
Liquidation Commission. In
Europe, she met and married
Lawrence Frederick Neumann.
Mrs. Neumann lived in Caracas,
Venezuela for many years, where
her husband worked for the
Board of Directors of the Creole
Petroleum Corp. She raised three
children, Gregory, Lorraine and
Jeffrey. She bred, owned and
exhibited award-winning Boxer
dogs throughout the Americas.
She made Key Biscayne, FL her
permanent home in 1970. Mrs.
Neumann remained active in the
Republican Women, Key
Biscayne Women, ExxonMobil
Annuitants and Key Biscayne
Yacht clubs, as well as the
American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs.
Neumann also was an active
supporter of the Republican Party
and many charitable institutions,
including the Humane Society.
Survivors include her daughter
Lorraine, sons Gregory and
Jeffrey, and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Mrs.
Neumann will be held at St.
Christopher's By-The-Sea
Episcopal Church in Key
Biscayne, Florida, 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, June 26, 2010.
