God's Speed Gary!! I remember you clearly, from the days of my youth, as a kind and caring father to a family I love. You knew everything in the world to know about football, and you shared that wealth of knowledge with John and me, very humbly, over many, many trips to the Orange Bowl to watch the Dolphins win, and sometimes lose, in some amazing games. Although you were a 'hot shot' player, a letterman, and clearly a big man on campus at Florida, you always spoke to me about football, without laughing - which must have been hard since I was just barely surviving at five foot seven! John was able to practically apply more your suggestions as a starter, but I always appreciated your thoughts on the game, and your kind delivery to us of your wealth of knowledge.
I know that you will be, and are already, dearly missed.
To Severy, John, Katie & Bunn I humbly offer my sincere condolences during this difficult time....each of you, along with Gary, have touched, and improved, my life, and for that I am forever grateful to you, as well as to Gary.
Sincerely,
Richard##imported-begin##Richard W. Leslie##imported-end##
