GAIL SCHWARTZ STAPLETON's Obituary
Gail was born in Louisville Ky on Oct 4,1939
On February 25, 2021 she died at Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, due to Covid-19 , with complications of pneumonia.
She had just beaten lung cancer and had been given a second chance at life.
The eldest of four children born to Agnes And Kenneth Schwartz. Raised and educated in Louisville, Ky.
Gail with her sister Suzanne decided to adventure to Miami, they loved this city, met their husbands here, and made it their home.
Gail Will be greatly missed by her
Son, Jason (Paola) and Grandchildren Sophia and Matthew. Step-sons Mark and Todd(Ann) , Her sisters Suzanne Johnson, Sharon Longobardi (Gino) and brother Kenneth D. Schwartz Jr. (Louise), Nephew Eric and Nieces Melanie Aubrey and Sarah. Also Longtime friend Tom McCrary.
Gail was an artist, and very talented. While living in Louisville she attended The University of Louisville Art School. Before retiring she was the manager for her family’s business for many years.
Her Family would like to give special thanks to Drs.Orlando Silva, and Michael Hall as well as Jay and Maria, for their help in treating her Cancer.
As well as Father Laurent at Mercy Hospital who was with her at the end of her life.
Her funeral mass will be held at St Hugh Catholic Church in Coconut Grove,Fl. on April 17, 2021 at 11:30 AM .
Her internment will take place in the Family plot at
St James Cemetery In Elizabethtown, Ky.
