Fred Lee Adkinson's Obituary
Fred L. Adkinson, 73, of Miami, FL passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born in Miami & was happily married to Rita for 47 years. Yacht painting & refinishing was his occupation. He loved woodworking, drag racing, riding motorcycles, crosswords, cruising, watching westerns, building toys for his grandson, & playing with his grandson. He loved chocolate & could always be seen with a Flannigan’s cup of Mountain Dew. In his younger years, he rode dirt bikes & worked on cars. Survived by wife Rita, daughter & son-in-law Jennifer & Eddy Prieto, grandchildren Christian & Lily, brother Ronald (Kathy) Adkinson, sisters Patricia Rosado & Eloise (Eddie) Saca, & numerous nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by parents Oliver & Amzie Adkinson, brothers Clarence, Gerald, & Terry & sisters Frances Resmondo, Jean Maples, & Anita Brewster. Viewing, Friday, February 1st, 4-6pm family only, 6-10pm open viewing, (8pm service) at Van Orsdel 11220 N. Kendall Drive Miami, FL 33176
