Dear Frances, Shane, Magda and Emma,
I and my family from afar send our heartfelt condolences for the passing of your beloved Frank.
The mind is very unique in recalling special moments in time. I recall over 34 years ago a day when I observed Frank happiness reflecting through his eyes and along with a happy small grind as he looked over his beloved wife Frances as they were enjoying their family dynamics, his father and mother inlaws along with his son great auntie and his sister in laws joyfully giggling has they surround with protection and love over his son Shane. I remember Frank taking a glance towards my way and acknowledging his happiness while being amoung them all. I recognized then that Frank would be a dedicated husband, father and caring member of the Pena family. I have no doubt that for many he also has become a long time genuine friend.
There is another special moment in time that I recall where he demonstrates gentle eyes along with a small caring grind it was on the very day of his father-in-law funeral -homecoming service.
I attempt to add a picture taken that very day it's not very clear but worth posting.
It's Frank Rice taking time to listen in total solace to the suffering during his father in-laws home coming service while gently affirms that they have his total attention as he affirms with a gentle smile that he understands their grief as well celebrates the testimonial by each person who told stories about his father-in-law relationships during their life time all the while he Frank had a long health journey to endure.
Seasons pass and much he would encounter due to his health battles yet he was a fighter, a determined soul who would have plans and do his best to lien on Christ Jesus.
You still be remembered and missed.
From a long life friend of our family,
R. Rosa and Mojicas
