FRANK A. MAZZOTTI JR.'s Obituary
“Papa” passed away October 9th, at age 82, surrounded by a lot of love and very heavy hearts. Frank was a caring husband and phenomenal father, but his greatest legacy will be the loving grandfather he was to Tommy, Ali, and Andy, truly the lights in his life. He served in the US Coast Guard, was a proud “Pioneer” with the Bell Companies, and in his own words was the greatest left-handed baseball pitcher to come out of Brooklyn – his future with the Dodgers cut short with an injury. In addition to his grandchildren, Frank leaves behind daughter Valaree (Tom Byrne), sister Adelyn Janulis, special in-laws, nieces & nephews, and wonderful neighbors and friends, most importantly his Byrne family. Many thanks to one-of-a-kind caregivers Pauline Thoywell Henry and Liliana Trujillo. Private services will be held.
