Frances Allen “Frankie”
Frances Allen “Frankie” Liegerot passed away January 27, 2011. Born in Sarasota, FL April 10, 1910, she attended Florida State College for Women (FSU), was a member of First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Coral Gables, charter member of Riviera Country Club, a Bridge Life Master, former fashion model for Burdines, and member of Alpha Delta Pi, DAR and UDC. She was married to the late Denzil Liegerot for 57 years. She moved to Brevard, NC in 2001.
She was preceded in death by son Denny Allen, Sr. 2009. She is survived by son Richard Jackman and wife Alice of Atlanta, daughter-in –law Florentine Phillips Liegerot of Brevard, grandsons Denny Allen Jr. and Charles Fletcher and wife Joanne of NY, great grandchildren Mitchell Allen, Miles Fletcher and Lark Gisele of NY and dear friend John Lucas of Brevard.
Van Orsdel Coral Gables Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Services will be held Tuesday February 1 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of FUMC Coral Gables. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery North.
In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to make contributions to the Music Fund of Coral Gables FUMC, 536 Coral Way, Coral Gables, FL 33134 or their favorite charity.
