Florian Merritt's Obituary
Florian C. Merritt was welcomed into heaven on October 17, 2020. He was born March 24, 1947 in Miami, Florida. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia on a full scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting.
He is survived by his sons; Michael Merritt and David Merritt; sisters Marcia Johnson (David) and Kay Caban (David), brother Dale Merritt (Mary), half-brother James Merritt, half-sisters Joyce Riddle, JoAnn Segars, and June Moore, Nieces Kayla Caban and Sierra Martinez, Nephews Daniel Johnson and Gary Kessler and ex-wife Maria Eugenia Martinez. He was predeceased by his parents Rufus Florian Merritt and Frances Geneva Crawford Merritt, brother Roger Merritt, sister Chris Martinez, and half-sisters Judy Netchaeff and Jane Boyd.
Funeral services will take place at Van Orsdel (Kendall) on November 1, 2020 from 2-5 pm. Memorial service will be at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests your prayers.
