Mr. Gomez,
What an incredible life you lived. Your journey was incredibly unique to you and only you were capable to navigate the challenges you faced. I want to thank you for showing me such kindness and welcoming me into your family. I’m glad that you shared your many life experiences with me and your many hobbies. I have enjoyed our conversations about politics, social issues, and the world.
Thank you again, Mr. Gomez.
Fidel I met you in the 70s when my best friend and your beautiful daughter Amiee took me home one day. You made me feel like I was your third daughter from the beginning. I was always invited to family gatherings. Your wonderful gift of flowers for my wedding has always been a special memory for me. I could not leave Miami after my marriage until I saw you and Mrs. Gomez. Watching you with your girls showed me what it was like to have a father's love and guidance Something I didn't have. You are a very special man. I know your family will miss you terribly. You will be their guardian angel now. Watching over the family from above.
Praying for the Gomez family. May your family find peace and joy through the memories made with your father. Lots of love from Gus, Gisela, GIse, and Agusti.🙏
Abuelo, I have so many wonderful memories with you. But I think my most memorable moment was when I was a little girl and you showed me how to make your delicious vanilla cupcakes and your famous orange jello. I remember being so happy that we shared that moment. You were an extraordinary grandfather who always took the time to teach me something new. It’s hard for me to think that you aren’t here with us anymore, crazy enough when I look out into the sea I feel as though you are with me. The moments that I had with you will forever hold a special place in my heart. I love you Abuelo.
In sorry for your loss. I know how much your family will miss you.
Through your daughter and my dearest friend I have gotten to know you. So grateful to be part of this journey of life and to be part of an inherited family through your daughter, Aimee. Blessing and Sleep in Peace.
My fondest memory of Don Fidel is how much he loved and cared for his wife and daughters. Rest In Peace.
