Fernando Alberto Navas was born in Managua, Nicaragua on May 3, 1962. When he was 17, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he would later graduate from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 1989. The following year, Fernando married Linda Castillo in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They were married for 28 years and had three daughters together, Amanda, Vanessa, and Rebecca Navas. Fernando was a kind and welcoming person, and he made everyone around him laugh and smile. He was a loving husband, brother, and father, and he valued his family more than anything. We encourage you to remember the light and happiness he brought to others and celebrate the moments of joy you shared with him always and forever.
