FELISA GOMEZ YANES's Obituary
With deep sadness but also with hope we inform you of the passage to eternity of our beloved Felisa Gómez Yanes, 91 years old, on Monday, June 10, 2024 in Miami, Florida, USA.
She had been diagnosed with endometrial cancer.
Words cannot describe how much we will miss her.
We are relieved that her death was at home and we were able to accompany her during her last weeks.
She was born in the Canary Islands, Spain and spent over 60 years in her beloved Caracas, Venezuela before moving to Miami, Florida, USA in 2016 to be with her closest family. She married Manuel Hernández Sepúlveda in 1968. He passed away in 2014. She was a teacher for over 30 years.
Her funeral services will be as follows:

Day: Thursday, June 13, 2024
Location: Van Orsdel Funeral Home, 4600 SW 8th St., Coral Gables, FL 33134
Time: 6pm to 10pm -
Burial: Burial in Caracas, Venezuela in the coming weeks; according to her wishes.

Days: June 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25 and 26, 2024
Location: St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1111 SW 107th Ave, Miami, FL 33174
Time: 7pm
