FATIMA JOSEFA SABIN's Obituary
Fátima Josefa Sabin, our Fefi, Mami, and Ela.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fefi, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Fefi was born on June 3, 1951 in Santa Clara, Cuba to Josefa and Gilberto Ferrer. She was a devoted wife to Antonio and together, they shared over 50 years of love, joy, laughs and companionship. As a mother, she provided unwavering support and love to her daughters, Jennifer and Natalie. As a grandmother, she dedicated her days to creating lasting memories for them filled with love, laughs, guidance, and warmth for her grandchildren, Javier, Julian, Nina, and James.
Her kindness, strength, and selflessness touched the lives of all who knew her. She had an extraordinary ability to connect and make everyone feel loved and important and everyone loved her back. Her love for life, her infectious smile, and her compassionate nature will forever be remembered.
She is survived by her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and many other family members and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
A Catholic Mass to celebrate Fefi’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, in Miami Lakes followed by entombment immediately after at Vista Memorial Gardens, in Miami Lakes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s in her memory.
We love you, Mami, Que en Paz descanses, until we meet again.
