Evelyn D. Logan's Obituary
LOGAN, EVELYN D., of Coral Gables, died peacefully January 29, 2012. Born February 13, 1923, to Anthony and Sarah DiGiovanni, in Chicago, IL; she graduated from the Cook County nursing school and enlisted in the Air Force where she was a 2nd LT. As an Air Force nurse, she met her husband, Thomas Logan. They were married in 1950 and remained together until his death in 1966. As a widow with young children, she was the heart and soul of her family until her death. Evelyn is survived by her children Thomas, Marilyn, Carole, and Joseph; her seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Food For Life Network, 305-576- FOOD, in her memory. Family and friends can celebrate the special women Evelyn was to one and all at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES, 4600 SW 8th Street, February 1st, from 6-9 pm.
