EUGENE CRISPINO's Obituary
Eugene Crispino was born on November 24, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA and lived a long full life until October 28, 2016. Following his family from the bitter North to sunny South Florida, he met his wife and love, Terttu Tellarvo Paananen, in 1957 at a Miami Beach dance hall. When he asked her to dance, it took several attempts to get her to agree but, when she finally did, a new path had been created for both of them. They married quickly....June of that same year....and began a life of husband and wife; one that would last for over 56 years and result in three loving children.
Between the beginning and the end, Eugene served in the Korean War, earning a Purple Heart, successfully bought and sold multiple investment properties, became a table tennis champ, played innumerable rounds of golf, even making the coveted hole-in-one, enjoyed decades of 'card parties' with family and friends, traveled around the USA with his sweet wife, and made sure his children and grandchildren always knew he was there for them.
He followed the passing of his wife, 'lover', and best friend, Terttu (aka Terry) by three years, one month, and eighteen days, to spend eternity dancing the jitterbug with Terry, enjoying endless rounds of golf with his hero Arnold Palmer, and beating the pants off of Sinatra and Martin at the card game of their choice.
While he will be sorely missed, the loving and joyful memory of Eugene lives on in his family...
