Esther C. born April 30, 1914 in Key West, FL. Her family moved to Miami in 1921. Predeceased by husband U.S. Judge C. Clyde Atkins, daughter Carla Atkins Schulte and son C. Clyde Atkins, Jr. Survived by daughter Julie Atkins, brother Alfred Castillo, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the following: Church of the Little Flower, 2711 Indian Mound Trail, Coral Gables, FL 33134, Sisters of St. Joseph, Development Office, P.O. Box 3506, St. Augustine, FL 32085-3506, Girl Scout Council of Tropical Florida, Inc., 11347 S.W. 160 St. Miami, FL 33137 or Barry University, 11300 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami Shores, FL 33161-6695. Visitation with prayer service 6 – 8 pm Wednesday at VAN ORSDEL CORAL GABLES. Funeral Mass 9:30 am Thursday at Church of the Little Flower. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
