ESTHER ORTEGA's Obituary
ORTEGA, ESTHER SUSAN ("COCO"), of Hallandale passed away November 13, 2015. Loving wife to the late Angel A. Ortega. Beloved sister of Luis M. Mendez of Davenport and sister-in-law to B. Cecilia Mendez of Miami. Also survived by her cherished nieces and nephew Cecilia I. Conway, Susan E. Mendez, and Peter P. Mendez. Esther was born in Havana, Cuba, August 11, 1943, daughter of the late Pedro Pablo and Rosa Esther Mendez. A viewing was held on November 16, 2015. A burial service will be held on Tuesday November 17th at 12 noon at Van Orsdel Funeral Chapel at 11220 N. Kendall Drive, Miami followed by burial at Dade South Cemetery 14200 SW 117th Ave in Miami. In lieu of flowers, Esther's family requests that contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org). We will miss you Coco.
