ERASTO ANDRES FUERTES's Obituary
Erasto Andres Fuertes Sr., best known as Papi was more than just a husband, father, grandfather and friend. He knew unconditional love and taught everyone he came in contact with what it looked like. He was always willing to lend a hand, a contagious smile, unending stories and jokes (sometimes with a twist).
His devotion to his wife of 76 years inspired all of us and showed us the love that is meant for two people to share.
It all began at the tender age of 16 and 19; one man and one woman with an unmeasurable love. Bringing their 4 children here to the States almost 60 years ago from Puerto Rico; the family tree would grow from 4; Pilar, Erasto Jr (his wife Jean), Mercedes (her husband Marshall) and Alicia (her husband Norman) to 11 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.
The void in our lives with his departure from this life to the next is filled with memories that will warm our hearts, as well as bring smiles and laughter for the rest of our lives. He is now reunited to the love of his life in heaven and holding her hand as they watch over all they loved.
We love you Papi!!!
