Last bday with my Dad. 10/18/2017

One of my many blessings was to be loved unconditionally by my father. He was a private and soft spoken person. He enjoyed movies, talk shows, soft listening music and quiet time, BBC news being one of his favorites. I’m grateful to have spent time with him at home during this difficult, sad and painful journey of his life and ours. He’s always been a healthy person and in the last months, loosing his Independence was extremely sad and to witness this decline in life so close, firsthand was heartbreaking. I believe he was content to be in a peaceful familiar environment; and I'm sure he was happy to be surrounded by the family. May he Rest In Peace and find comfort in being reunited with his Mom, Dad and ex wife. Dad, I’m losing you, but gaining an angel. I know you will always be watching over me, the kids and David. We will miss you. 9/20/18
