Enid I. Belmar's Obituary
Enid “ Chang” Ic i lda Belmar was born in
Kingston, Jamaica on
July 23 , 1922 . She was a woman of few words; a woman with unparal-
le led inner s t rength who set her examples
through action. Full of love and grace. Full of genuine k indness.
A physical form of purity and peace.
Chang always extended a helping hand to all
near and far, known
and unknown. Never a foul word or complaint
uttered as she believed
hate resulted in disease. As she never harbored negativity, she always said she would leave th i s world naturally by
age, not s ickness, which held true. Her committed founda-
t ions to prayer and family were passed on to us. She loved martial arts as i t is a mind, body and soul connection. Her
f i rm, loyal faith in God was expressed through her s t rong spirit, gentle nature, and love for gardening.
Chang always called her beloved
husband of 62 years “ Hon,” and he deemed her with her family name
“ Chang.” Within their f ir s t hours of
meeting, he said to h imself he never met a more dedicated, caring woman. He did not believe someone l ike her existed.
They are one and were always together; in tertwined souls.
As her c losest family and friends, we are blessed to have
known, loved and been loved by such an exceptional woman and soul. Although she has departed from th is physical
world, we continue to feel her unsurpassed love within each of us everyday. She is love; and will always be loved.
