Emmanuel Perez's Obituary
Emmanuel Perez, aged 13, passed away on November 9, 2023. He was a beloved Son and Brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Emmanuel was born on March 16, 2010 in Miami, where he attended Pinecrest North Preparatory until fourth grade, then later he attended Jane S. Roberts until eight grade. Throughout his school time, he was known for his dedication, perseverance, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Emmanuel was a loving son and brother. He loved spending time with his family, sharing stories and laughing about his dad’s jokes. He was a humble, carefree and selfless person. He was always willing to lend a hand no matter how bad he felt. He was very wise despite his young age. He led by actions not words. His diagnosis didn’t define the way he lived his life.
In his free time, Emmanuel loved fishing, playing soccer and video games. He had an immense passion for soccer because his dream was to become a professional soccer player. His humor and strength was bigger than any struggle he faced. He had a special connection with his dog.
Emmanuel is survived by his parents Glenda and Sergio Perez, his siblings Gabriella and Ezekiel Perez. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held for family, friends and all the wonderful people he met during his journey on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM with burial to immediately follow.
