Emma Edelmira Villamil's Obituary
Emma Edelmira Villamil January 2, 1946 – November 10, 2025
Emma Edelmira Villamil, born in Guines, Cuba, passed away peacefully in her home and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A daughter of the Most High, her name is written in the book of life. She is now in the glory of His presence where there is no more tears or pain, no more death or mourning. She is assured a new glorified body that is like Christ’s glorious body. Emma we love you; well done, good and faithful servant!
Emma was a devoted mother to her son Luis and her late daughter Mirach, whom she lovingly cared for and was selflessly devoted to maintaining her life for 21 years. She was the beloved middle sister to Irma and Norma, and a cherished presence in the lives of her nieces, nephew, grandchildren and all who knew her.
Emma had an extraordinary capacity to love—that was her superpower. She welcomed everyone into her heart with warmth and generosity. If you told her, you liked something she would give it to you. Her greatest joy came from cooking for others and delivering the food while finding ways to brighten their days. Whether she was preparing a favorite meal or yearning to bring family together for celebrations filled with music and dancing, Emma lived to make others happy. Her spirit and her soul stayed young and never wavered.
Though life brought many challenges that would have broken many, Emma never lost her tender heart and enduring spirit. He who has been forgiven much, loves much, Lk 7:47. Her love was boundless, her kindness genuine, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday November 15th from 10a-2p. Please come ready to celebrate Emma style. The message from Pastor Jose Prado will be at 11am at Van Orsdel at 11220 N Kendall Drive Miami, Fla. 33176
