TURNER, EMILY W.
Age 91, formerly of Coral Gables, Florida passed away peacefully Thursday, January 28, 2016. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey and graduated from Rider University. She was married to David Marshel Turner, Esq in 1946 and moved to Miami, Florida thereafter. She was widowed at age 45 with three children. She was a successful example of the single mother who worked, raised and educated her children. She is survived by her daughter Marsha (Kevin) Hennessey and sons David Turner and William (Suzy) Turner and two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Victoria and a cousin Joyce Stinson. Services will be held Monday, February 1st at 11:00 am at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 1121 Andalusia Ave. Coral Gables, 33134. There will be a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Philip’s Episcopal Church Endowment Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association.
