Elodie Cajuste Francillon's Obituary
How do I say goodbye to my sister, how do Jaihr and Chad say farewell to their mother? How does the family turn the page and continue with life? How do her friends remember her smile and her forever selfie poses?
Elodie (Dilou) you came into this world on a cold December day in New York, being the first child of Nettie Jannini and Alix Cajuste, the story has been told so many times of how you made your entrance screaming and kicking. You were doted on by your grandmother Ticocotte and your aunts Yanick and Florence specially. You were a cute brace-wearing, long braided hair girl who knew she wanted to conquer the world and you did.
Life wasn’t so kind to you when the love of your life Ronald was taken away so suddenly but you stood firm and in dignity to raise the two most beautiful young men I know.
You loved traveling, taking pictures, spending time with your children and the many friends that you had particularly Tania, Gaelle and Hilda who were by your side until you closed your eyes. You have left a void in the life of everyone you dealt with and you will be terribly missed.
Elodie leaves behind two sons Jaihr and Chad Francillon, her mother Nettie Jannini, her father Alix Cajuste, her sister and brother in law Dazne and Michael Webster, her sisters Sonja and Allisha Cajuste, her brother and sister in law Jean-Marc and Biandra Cajuste and her one and only adored nephew Roger Alix Cajuste. She also leaves her aunts and uncles and the countless cousins that considered her a sister.
I am sure you all will have an anecdote or two about your encounters with Elodie as her presence could not be ignored or missed. So remember her with a smile, a story and of course a picture.
Safe journey Dilou I hope you are with Ronald, Ticocotte, Papi Jacques, Mamie and Papi. I hope you are celebrating and you will always be in our hearts.
