Elizabeth Lehmann Blanton's Obituary
Elizabeth L. “Betty” Blanton, 89, of Miami, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2021. Born in Hartford, Connecticut to Ernest and Phyllis (Brooks) Lehmann, she was a longtime resident of Miami Florida. After raising her 3 children, Betty worked for Ogee Paint on Bird Road as a bookkeeper for over 20 years.
Betty enjoyed traveling the State of Florida, the US and the world with her husband Zeb, sister Jean, and many of her Eastern Star, IHAM and Daughters of the Nile friends. She and her husband Zeb did everything together.
She is pre-deceased by her loving husband and best friend of 67 years, Zeb (2016). She is survived by her sisters, Jean Newland, Beverly Newland, and Bobette Campbell. Her children; daughter Judith Nicolussi (Joseph*), son, Zeb Jr. (Deborah*), and daughter Debra Harrington, (David). Grandchildren, Erica Elizabeth Zoeller, Christopher John Nicolussi, Steven Treadway Blanton, Amanda Blanton Walker, and Ryan Ian Benison. Great grandchildren, Alyssa Rae and Taylor Skye Zoeller; Meah Elizabeth, Avery Harper, and Ryker Joseph Nicolussi; and James Alexander Benison.
A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be conducted August 21, 2021, 2pm at Oletta West Dade Masonic Center, 145 S. Royal Poinciana Blvd., Miami Springs, FL 33166. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Transportation Fund.
